President Trump

Just in case.
Don't give up yet, Bob. I have no doubt that Mrs. C already has directed her entire staff, including various attorneys, to work through tonight and for as long as it takes to prepare demands for many recounts and filings for lawsuits against the many people she believes must be blamed. Who knows? If some of them fall onto the benches of the proper judges, she might make some headway.Bob78164 wrote:I cannot believe what my country apparently has just done. --Bob
I said this back in August 2015, but would not have thought that it would necessarily come true.Bob78164 wrote:I cannot believe what my country apparently has just done. --Bob
You could be a network pundit. Hillary called Donald to concede even before the networks declared him the winner.silvercamaro wrote: Don't give up yet, Bob. Do you mean the "old America" that would give the guy a chance?elwoodblues wrote:Oh, well. America had a good run.
Yes, when I heard that, I laughed, too. No doubt she did it just to spite me.TheConfessor wrote:You could be a network pundit. Sorry doc, but it was much less his celebrity-ness and bluster than it was his non-Hillary-ness.thguy65 wrote:I said this back in August 2015, but would not have thought that it would necessarily come true.Bob78164 wrote:I cannot believe what my country apparently has just done.

No, I think it was his ability to say what people wanted to hear on a number of levels. There's a lot of non-deplorables who voted for him who heard the talk about how he was going to make America great without a whole lot in the way of details.Estonut wrote:Sorry doc, but it was much less his celebrity-ness and bluster than it was his non-Hillary-ness.thguy65 wrote:I said this back in August 2015, but would not have thought that it would necessarily come true.Bob78164 wrote:I cannot believe what my country apparently has just done.

But Hillary said what people wanted to hear on a number of levels AND provided details. Why do you think so many Democrats voted against her?silverscreenselect wrote:No, I think it was his ability to say what people wanted to hear on a number of levels. I just hope the markets recover by the time I get ready to retire. I also hope that Trump doesn't get peeved when national security is at stake.
The L.A. Times disagrees:silvercamaro wrote:Yes, when I heard that, I laughed, too. No doubt she did it just to spite me.TheConfessor wrote:You could be a network pundit. That's Sarcafont, if you've forgotten.
Or perhaps it was aimed at John Podesta, who had just spoken to her supporters to say that she was "not ready to concede." http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/podes ... le/2606898
Maybe her phone call to Trump was intended to be gracious, but not meant as a concession. We'll all find out tomorrow.
