34. BRIDGE OVER TROUBLED WATER-SIMON AND GARFUNKEL (1970)
Masterpieces like the title track and "The Boxer". Haunting pieces like "The Only Living Boy in New York" and "El Condor Pasa".
And, so the mood doesn't get TOO deep and serious, playful tunes like "Cecelia", "Baby Driver" and "Keep The Customer Satisfied".
Yup, consider me satisfied. More than satisfied.

elwing and I were married in 1972. We drove a Ford Pinto, and the week before our wedding we had an 8-track player installed because she wanted to take some music along as we drove. This was one of the cassettes she chose.

One of my college profs said that when this first came out, he just about wore it out. I could easily see why, it fit his world view perfectly.
