Well, it had to happen at some point...for today's album, I don't have a full audio for you to hear. I DID at one point, when I was assembling the info and links for the countdown, but when I set this up to post today, I discovered that the link I had for the full album is gone now. So...two choices..I posted a link which will take you to a site where you can at least hear soundbites of each song. Click on the little arrow icon to the left of the first song title, and the soundbites will play in order.

Grrrr...

35. PERISCOPE LIFE-KAYAK (1980)

A long-running Dutch progressive band whose first album was released in 1973, they are pretty much unknown here, unfortunately.
Funny thing is, I believe the most hardcore of their fans intensely disliked this album, as it was much more pop oriented than
most of their work. But it is by far my favorite..in fact, there isn't a single song here that I don't like at least a little.
It is pop, but in the creatively crafted type of pop that marked the latter years of Genesis. The lyrics in the title track,
about a guy just wishing he could enjoy a simple night out with his overly socially conscious girlfriend without enduring
another stern lecture about the state of world affairs, are quite amusing. Among the other topics covered on the album are
aliens and Anne Boleyn! Many rich melodies to be found throughout...most definitely an overlooked gem in my opinion.

Most of the songs have been posted individually on You Tube, just not the whole album. Here's what I could find (only missing one track, "Stop That Song"..also, the first and second songs are combined in the first video):
