1) Put these MLB team is order based on when they took on their name, starting with the most recent: (1 point each)

b) Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim

2) Who replaced Sammy Hagar (and recorded one album) as lead singer of Van Halen in 1996? (3 points)

3) Name this recurring comedic character on The Tonight Show, as portrayed by host Johnny Carson: (3 points)
Image
Floyd R. Turbo

4) What solo artist "self-titled" his first four albums, which came to be known as Car, Scratch, Melt and Security based on their cover art? (3 points)
Peter Gabriel (but pre-internet we called 2 & 3 "Lightning" and "Melt-face" respectively. Also, Security actually has the title "Security" on the spine of the CD. I think the album did, too, but I'm not going to go dig that up from the garage.)

5) What popular mascot came to national and worldwide attention during the Angels' appearance in the 2002 World Series? (2 points)
The Rally Monkey had already won us locals over a few years earlier.

6) Named after the US city where it was manufactured, the 351 Cleveland V-8 engine was introduced in 1969 for the 1970 Ford model year. (3 points)

7) What bicycle mechanism moves the chain out and up, allowing it to shift to different cogs? (2 points)
The front derailleur moves the chain out (away from the bike) when its lever is pulled. The rear derailleur moves the chain in (towards the center of the rear hub) when its lever is pulled. Neither physically changes the chain's height directly. The chain just goes up or down, depending on the relative height of the next gear onto which it is being shoved.

8 ) What is the largest city in Estonia? (2 points)
c) Tallinn
(Nice umlaut on Pärnu, by the way! Did you copy & paste it, use Alt+0228 or use Alt+132?

Wheelhouse Bonus: (5 points)
What was the official name for Medieval Livonia formed in the territories comprising present day Estonia and Latvia? (5 points)
d) Terra Mariana

This was fun! Right up my alley! Thanks!

Damn it! I wondered how Scoop could get this exactly backwards. Then I finally read the question correctly. After carefully looking at order for all other sequencing questions I answered on other quizzes, I didn't notice it here. I think this is the first one asking for reverse order.
