For today's two entries we've got one of the best B-sides ever and a song that is a true benchmark in Rock 'n Roll....
74. KEEP THE CUSTOMER SATISFIED-SIMON & GARFUNKEL (1970)
Album: Bridge Over Troubled Water
A bouncy, lyrically rich song about the tours that Simon was getting sick of, it was the flip side of "Bridge Over
Troubled Water". That's a helluva 1-2 combo.
73. YOU REALLY GOT ME-THE KINKS (1964)
Album: Kinks
A true landmark recording. A case can be made that it is the granddaddy of several musical genres: hard rock, punk, and metal.
For 1964, this was pretty darn rockin'. Actually, still is. Those speakers still explode when this starts up.
