The Boney 500: Songs 84 and 83

For today's pair of tunes, we have a strange couple of bedfellows: Some Disney soundtrack music and a boogie down Southern rocker...
84. LITTLE WONDERS-ROB THOMAS (2007)
Album: Meet The Robinsons
This song comes from a less-celebrated Disney movie that my family loves. For most of its running time, it is a weird,
goofy movie played for laughs. Then, in the closing moments, it blindsides you with a tender, emotional ending
(during which this song plays) that never fails to put a big ol' lump in my throat. This song, about recognizing the little
things in life that make all the difference, touches my heart in a way I can't explain.
83. CALL ME THE BREEZE-LYNYRD SKYNYRD (1974)
Album: Second Helping
Southern Rock boogie down blues. To borrow the title of another Skynyrd album, it's "Nuthin' Fancy", but it sure does cook.
