43. RUMOURS-FLEETWOOD MAC (1977)
One of the best selling albums of all time, and when you consider what was going on in the group (not one but TWO
relationships involving 4 of the 5 band members disintegrated) during the recording process, it is truly amazing
that it even got MADE, let alone achieve such artistic and commercial success. It is great pop full of classics
that stands the test of time. But I still wonder what they were feeling, singing and playing songs that were written
about THEM.

As I mentioned when Go Your Own Way was named a top song (yay!), I didn't have a chance to wear out the cassette tape. Some neighbor kid stole it outta my car in my mom's neighborhood. I would have worn it out, given the chance.

I've always kind of thought that, given what was going on within the band, that it was astonishing that this album was made and downright miraculous that anymore were made afterwards.
