44. ELDORADO-THE ELECTRIC LIGHT ORCHESTRA (1974)
Billed as "A Symphony by Electric Light Orchestra", it does indeed feature recurring motifs and tracks that blend into
others. I think it is the album that best fulfilled their concept of merging rock and classical..albums that followed
veered more into pop with classical flavoring territory, eventually all but abandoning the classical ambitions. I
liked many of their albums, but this is my favorite, and the one that seems to have had the most thought put into it.
