A possible gift for PSM

I ordered a nice personalized coffee mug for my mother. She's impossible to buy for, not to mention she will be 91 on May 22. I've got both Mother's Day and her birthday to buy for.

Anyway, my mug came today. It is beautifully inscribed:

"I love you, Mommy.

Love, Maddie"

Somehow I don't think Maddie calls her Mom "Mommy", but I'm willing to send it to PSM if she would like it. :D

Can you send it back and get a refund?

Maddie only calls me Mommy when she wants something. I am Mother most of the time, because she is irritated with me.

I sent them an email. I'm thinking they don't want to pay me to send it back to them, probably cheaper to just make a new one for the right person.

Guess this will be my morning coffee mug. Maybe someone will ask me who Maddie is one of these days. :D

When they do, just look down and say "I am not ready to talk about her."

Play with people's heads!

Whenever my siblings and I talk about our parents, we say "the father", "the mother" or "the parents". I have no idea which one of us started it and we all do it.

"I talked to the mother the other day and......."

"The parents are not doing so well......."

It is funny if someone else is listening to us talk - they do a double take.
