Well, so do most people. But current case is librarian at my local library. On a couple diff computers, "welcome to gnix! It has not been fully installed" comes up when you open I.E.
According to the librarian "gnix is a better browser than I.E", at which point they quickly clicked on firefox, which is not what I wanted to use.
According to a quick internet search, gnix, far from being an I.E. browser replacement, is a proxy server that is supposed to be running in the background, & if its in the foreground you're in trouble in some way.
I had found, for instance, that with gnix poking its head in, my windows when I did get I.E. to respond wouldn't minimize or maximize; the stuff on the upper right hand of screen that lets you do that was gone.
This is a library where when a computer disappears, they do not replace it. They're already down many, & according to another librarian they are not being repaired. I guess if I.E. is dead on several, its better to have the computer there & only firefox available. But they should just say so.

Did you make a typo? I can't find anything about gnix. There's an ngnix though.

Yeah, I left off the initial "g". Its still a proxy server, not a browser.
And its bad news if you ever see it, unless you're installing it as a server.

A lie is when you say something you know isn't true. Librarian had to know ngnix wasn't a "better browser than I.E.". When it isn't a browser at all.
Ignorance gets "I don't know; I'll call the tech staff". Liar gets librarian clicking on firefox "for" me. Which if I.E. is incapacitated by ngnix, makes firefox the *only* browser. If they didn't know ngnix wasn't a browser, why'd they go to firefox.
