What other mountain is left to climb?
Since 2010-NDSU has gone 6 for 6 against FBS teams with 5 straight FBS championships
As the article says-It really did not even seem like an upset.NDSU 239 rushing yards versus about 34 for Iowa.
The last NDSU touchdown drive was a thing of beauty. They dominated the line.

I don't mean to split hairs, but they have 5 straight FCS, not FBS, championships. That is the lower subdivision of Division I.
But what they have done is impressive, especially since they have a new quarterback this year. Maybe they should move up to FBS. They would be a geographic fit for the Big 12 and maybe a competitive fit too.

Yep, My bad. I am just finally getting FBS and FCS straight. Obviously, not enough to bring out in public, through.(LOL)
It is a quirk of the way my mind works. I have a really good memory, however, I am really, really bad at binary choices. I can never remember which is which.
I was initially opposed to the move to FCS-but I was wrong. I would like to see them in the Big 12, long-term.
Given that few FBS teams will schedule them-it seems like more of a natural step now.
Bison fans have made Frisco, Texas, a second home. (the home of the championships.)

you're the one who invented the 50-50-90 Rule. --Bob

And folks wonder why I still use the Division 1-A and 1-AA nomenclature.

NDSU actually got a decent amount of votes in the polls this week. Not enough to make the top 25 but solidly in the "others receiving votes" category. They changed the rules a while back so that you can put both FBS and FCS teams on your ballot.

NDSU has got a lot of attention here since the Philadelphia Eagles drafted Carson Wentz. Looks like the Bison are doing fine without him. (I really like that they call themselves the Bison and not the Bisons.)
