He applied for a basketball manager position at North Dakota State University (A Division 1 Program).

He interviewed yesterday and thought it went well. The interviewer told him that he had a good chance because he had a good reference. Apparently-Li'l Spock's high school basketball coach knows the NDSU coach pretty well.

Speaking as a father-He needs basketball in his life to be fulfilled. It is who he is and what he loves.

Doesn't pay great and screws up class scheduling-but I really hope he gets it.

Just managing-but he would always be up for shooting around with the guys.

He got a manager position, so the good vibes helped. -I can't call it a job, because I am not sure if he gets a paid or not. Apparently, he will score some pretty nice swag. Shirts and such.

Li'l Spock's high school basketball coach knows the NDSU coach and he put in a good word. High school coach told me that he has watched an NDSU practice and the managers are right out there with the team-rebounding and shooting and helping with drills and so forth.

The kid will be in heaven. We joke that he can be their "Rudy."
