The Boney 500: Album #80

Happy Labor Day! No day off for our countdown, as we kick off Week 15 with today's album selection:
80. DAMN THE TORPEDOES-TOM PETTY AND THE HEARTBREAKERS (1979)
This is a fine example of good, solid American Rock 'n Roll. Petty took a giant leap forward with this one,
and there's one great track after another, from the kickin' opener "Refugee" though "Even The Losers", "Shadow
Of A Doubt", "Don't Do Me Like That"...pretty much every track through the closing "Louisiana Rain". Constant
airplay has made me a little weary of it but I still wouldn't want it to leave my collection by any means.
