The Boney 500: Album #81

Last album for the week. Week 15 starts on Monday.
81. FLEETWOOD MAC-FLEETWOOD MAC (1975)
With the addition of Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham, the band began its ascent into the upper echelons of pop stardom.
With Christine McVie as the third side of the songwriting triangle, there were now three members with great pop composition
instincts. Although I've never been a huge Nicks fan, she has two here I really like ("Rhiannon" and especially "Landslide").
McVie contributes a couple of great singles ("Over My Head" and "Say You Love Me"), and Buckingham, who would really take
charge on the next album, gives us "Monday Morning", a great opening track. The sound is of a band beginning to hit its stride.
