Kenny Baker, the 3'8" man who inhabited Star Wars robot R2D2 died yesterday. He appeared in the first six movies but was too ill to reprise the role for the recent Force Awakens. Ironically, Tony Dyson, the man who designed and built the robot for the first Star Wars movie, also died earlier this year.
His age has been reported as 81 or 83.
