97. THERE GOES RHYMIN' SIMON-PAUL SIMON (1973)

The most accessible of Simon' solo releases, overall it is a pretty good-natured record.
Huge hits ("Kodachrome", "Loves Me Like A Rock"), gentle excursions into Dixieland ("Take Me
To The Mardi Gras") and Jamaican rhythms ("Was A Sunny Day"), beautiful ballads ("American
Tune", "Something So Right"), even a sweet lullaby ("St. Judy's Comet"). It has always been
something I'll pull out and play as a sort of musical comfort food.
