The last couple of album entries came from the new wave (with a dash of punk) genre, so let's switch up the mood....

102. TUPELO HONEY-VAN MORRISON (1971)

Even the uptempo cuts have a comfortable, laid-back feeling to them. A warm album, and the title track
is simply gorgeous. If you don't like it, then you probably don't like Van Morrison. For whatever reason,
several of the songs are not available on Youtube, with live versions substituted, so instead I've given
you a link to click on for the proper album intact. When you get there, click on the arrow at the center of the album picture.

Half the time I don't understand Morrison's words but the overall effect is always pretty regardless.

I grinned at the end of the movie "Uly's Gold" when this album's title track played over the credits.

One of the bands I was in did "Wild Night". It was pretty interesting trying to sing that song not knowing what half of the lyrics were. I just made up words and sounds that sounded close and slurred everything. True. I did that a lot with Stones songs, too. This was before being able to Google all the lyrics...although sometimes the lyrics sites contain glaring errors, too.
