The Boney 500: Album #112

112. UNCLE CHARLIE AND HIS DOG TEDDY-NITTY GRITTY DIRT BAND (1970)

Very much country and bluegrass influenced, but throwing in pop and rock spices, the album features 4 compositions
by Kenny Loggins (including a very nice take on "House At Pooh Corner") and 2 by ex-Monkee Michael Nesmith (the
wonderful "Some Of Shelly's Blues" being one of them). Oh yeah, their classic version of "Mr. Bojangles" is here as well.

Great album title and album.
