Title Tweak and Lifeline Switch for New Season

The words 'Las Vegas' are reportedly being added to the show's title when it returns in September, now taping in said city (presumably on MMC's old stage).
And 50:50 is gone (again), being replaced by a single 'Jump The Question' lifeline.
My reaction: Meh. Tonight's disastrous '
Win Losesanity' episode (a record
three llamas', two others out early) was more interesting.

From my lips to their ears. The non-random 50/50 is gone. It really only worked for me if I was fairly sure of one & wanted to see if it would still be there.

Yeah, because that idea worked so well for "Gambit" in 1980...

I wonder where this came from, the rules on the website still show 50/50.

I wonder what will happen if the $5,000 or $50,000 question is jumped over? Do they lose the safe haven all together or will they have to answer the next question correctly in order to have it?
I personally don't like this change, as it invites the return of middle tier WWOQs, something that the show has gotten rid of for the most part this last season.

What if you just jump the 500K Q? I seem to remember Jump being deactivated in the upmost tier, back when it was in play.

1. This isn't happening.
2. Jump was out of play for the $1 million question only as walking or answering were the only options (there was nowhere to jump to).
3. If they did bring it back, jumping a threshold would need one of two rules:
A. Threshold is given
B. Threshold becomes most recently answered question level if used at a threshold question.
