Small update, I am temporarily removing my hat from the ring.

I have jury duty this week and likely will not make it to my audition tomorrow. I signed up for another audition on the 16th in case I need a backup date.

Keep any relevant digits crossed on my behalf, although the wheels of justice turn slowly and therefore will likely not let me out in time to get to NY by 5:45.

As long as they didn't kick you in the seat of the pants and slam the door behind you, I think you're ok.

Waving good-bye? That's not something Hot Seaters do on the show. Remembering which exit to walk out of, yeah, that they need to know!

Waving good-bye? That's not something Hot Seaters do on the show.

They wave hello sometimes. Or maybe TPTB is planning the return of the Ring of Fire as part of the upcoming "excitement".

There have been a few hotseaters who might not have used their entire hand to wave good-bye. Kati Knudsen comes to mind. Waving hello is safer.

Hi, new guy just checking in. Um...I auditioned on May 15th and I just got my congrats card. Out of curiosity has anyone else gotten one and does anyone know appx. odds of getting on the show from the pool.

Both the lady before me and I were asked to say good-bye to the camera. I think it's just a way to end the taped interview on a casual note.
