3 more songs to add to the list as we begin Week 6 of the countdown...
275. MAGNET AND STEEL-WALTER EGAN (1978)
ALBUM: Not Shy
Just a great midtempo pop radio hit. I love the toy piano..Assisted on background vocals by Stevie Nicks
and Lindsey Buckingham of Fleetwood Mac, although you don't see them in this video. .
274. GOLDEN BLUNDERS-THE POSIES (1990)
ALBUM: Dear 23
This song is such a cheerful sounding singalong that it's easy to overlook the lyrics being sung: it's about
marrying and starting a family too young. Ringo Starr covered this one a couple of years later.
273. YOU'LL BE IN MY HEART-PHIL COLLINS (1999)
ALBUM: Tarzan Soundtrack
There's a special reason this one is on the list. It was the song my granddaughter and I would sing to each other.
She was 5 then, she's 22 now, but it's still "our song".
