Here are the final 3 songs for the week. We'll resume the countdown on Monday.

278. EVEN IN THE QUIETEST MOMENTS-SUPERTRAMP (1977)
ALBUM: Even In The Quietest Moments...

Starts quietly and builds as it goes along. Some very interesting instrumentation throughout. I could not find
a youtube video for this one, so you'll have to click on this link if you want to hear the song..

277. MESSAGE OF LOVE-THE PRETENDERS (1981)
ALBUM: Pretenders II

Everything that's great about Chrissie Hynde is on display here. She rocks hard and yet it's
the most romantic butt-kicking you'll ever hear. Love the beat. Originally released as a
single only, then on an EP, "Extended Play", a short time prior to its inclusion on
"Pretenders II".

276. CELLULOID HEROES-THE KINKS (1972)
ALBUM: Everybody's In Showbiz

Frontman Ray Davies paints a beautiful lyrical picture as a narrator musing on the stars whose names
he sees as he travels along the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The melody is like a sad smile.

Probably my favorite Kinks song. He sounds so melancholy musing on the nature of fame. BTW - I have been loving your countdown.
