Played yesterday in the Open Pairs. Had a decent first session but didn't back it up. Out of the money in A, fifth in X. Our session awards were worth more than the X overall.
I won't be back there until Saturday, when I'll be playing the two-day pair event. --Bob

A friend of mine won a side game with jerry helms at the can-at in Halifax they had a 70%. I emailed her how nice she was giving her time to play with new players

Planned to play the two-day Open Pairs event, but there weren't enough tables so the event didn't go and we ended up in the one-day Open Pairs instead. We won. --Bob

Thanks. Today wasn't quite as successful, but we did end the Swiss with 75 victory points, good enough for 3rd in Stratum X. Total haul for the three days I played: 32.67 gold and 0.01 red. --Bob
