One more album before we take a break for the weekend:
131. SUITABLE FOR FRAMING-THREE DOG NIGHT (1969)
They're arguably among the greatest singles bands ever, creating hits that sound great on the radio, and
there's certainly no shortage of hits here, as "Easy To Be Hard", "Celebrate", and "Eli's Coming" all came
from this album. They've never received a lot of respect for their albums though, which is a little unfair,
especially in the case of this one. There are some great album cuts here, including a cover of a song ("Lady
Samantha") written by a then-unknown Elton John, and the fun run through on "Circle For A Landing". The horn
section from Chicago is on hand to punch up the tracks that open and close the album.
