3 more songs to add to the list...

317. CAN WE STILL BE FRIENDS-TODD RUNDGREN (1978)
Album: Hermit Of Mink Hollow

Few artists can push the boundaries of the recording studio while still maintaining
an extremely strong sense of melody like Todd can. His multilayered harmonies weave all
around a gorgeous melody on this Top 30 hit from 1978.

316. BARRYTOWN-STEELY DAN (1974)
Album: Pretzel Logic

Pretty straightforward tune with a really nice vocal from Donald Fagen.

315. WHAT DO ALL THE PEOPLE KNOW-THE MONROES (1982)
Album(actually an Extended Play record): The Monroes

One listen to this and you know what decade it's from. It has that definitive early
80's New Wave flavored pop sound all over it. Unfortunately it stalled at #59 on the
charts. It deserved a better fate. The drum break (at 3:12) that leads into the final line of
the tune is one of those little things that make a song for me.
