I had a crush on her when I was a young boy.

She also had a long radio career, usually playing, well, the same kind of character as Judy Jetson - an often lovelorn teen, going back to tbe "Fibber McGee and Molly" days.

She did have an on-screen role in a classic "I Love Lucy" episode, where she played the girlfriend of a young Richard Crenna (basically playing his dopey teen boy role from "Our Miss Brooks"), each falling for Lucy and Ricky, respectively.

I wonder how they snuck this episode past the censors. They had to have separate beds and couldn't say "pregnant" when Lucy became so.

She's like a blonde Betty Rubble:

Ever notice that animators at that time rarely gave cartoon women anything but tiny noses.

You are so right. Isn't it about time to change that avatar?
