Voice of Judy Jetson, Janet Waldo, dies at age 96.

I had a crush on her when I was a young boy.

She also had a long radio career, usually playing, well, the same kind of character as Judy Jetson - an often lovelorn teen, going back to tbe "Fibber McGee and Molly" days.

She did have an on-screen role in a classic "I Love Lucy" episode, where she played the girlfriend of a young Richard Crenna (basically playing his dopey teen boy role from "Our Miss Brooks"), each falling for Lucy and Ricky, respectively.

I wonder how they snuck this episode past the censors. They had to have separate beds and couldn't say "pregnant" when Lucy became so.

I've heard it said many times that int he cartoon world, small noses are cuter. It's one of the many things I consistently do wrong....
