Hey, BiT!
There is a new veterinary show,
The Vet Life, joining "Dr. Jeff: Rocky Mountain Vet" and "Dr. Dee: Alaska Vet" in the Animal Planet lineup. I was just watching (last week's) first episode and found out that it is about the 3 veterinarians running the
Cy-Fair Animal Hospital. I thought you might find it interesting, if not for the veterinary stuff, for the location shots of the surrounding area. I just tried to look at the hospital's website and got the "Bandwidth Limit Exceeded" message, so it looks like the show is getting them more internet interest than they had prepared for.

Thanks!
I did see a FB post a couple months back from the producer asking for local animal "emergencies". I submitted my own about when Piper knocked the chocolate cake off the counter and ate it all, including a bunch of broken glass. I never heard back.
I did not know it was already airing.
I, and the rest of the family will have to check it out. Maybe be can record a few episodes to download for our road trip, which starts Thursday.
I just looked at the location of that hospital. I'm pretty sure Emily applied there to "shadow" the vets as part of her pre-vet school activities to gain relevant experience. That is where students just sort of follow the vets and vet-techs, assisting a little here and there, but unpaid. That She ended up shadowing at the Hempstead clinic. The liked her so much they went ahead and offered her a part-time paid position. It didn't hurt that one day she was "caught" cleaning up an exam room where they had quite a bit of mess from a patient. When asked "why are you cleaning this up?" (the other students shadowing, never did anything unless asked, especially cleaning). Emily looked confused and replied "Because it needed it." They offered her the position that day.
<update> Emily did not apply there. But she knew about the show because her boyfriend told her about it and said she SHOULD have applied there because she could be on T.V.

We are watching it now.
