I noticed that Jeff Gross hasn't updated his Millionaire statistics (found here: http://www.wwtbam.biz/) since the end of Season 12 (May 2014).

Now that another season just finished up tpday, I was just wondering if anyone has kept track of the payout statistics during the last two seasons, and if so could you share it with us?

If anyone cares to clean this up from what I paste here from Excel. This is my own tracking, and there may be a few missed shows due to power outages or other whatever going wrong, but it should be close. Right/Wrong/Total is me alone, but using the right column (Total) you can see how many players reached each question and get your information from there.

This season:

$ RIGHT WRONG TOTAL
$500 191 0 191
$1,000 190 0 190
$2,000 185 3 188
$3,000 180 4 184
$5,000 170 6 176
$7,000 151 17 168
$10,000 136 24 160
$20,000 121 23 144
$30,000 75 40 115
$50,000 41 26 67
$100,000 11 10 21
$250,000 3 5 8
$500,000 1 1 2
$1,000,000 0 0 0
1455 159 1614

Last season (remember the shuffle format, so some questions had unknown value and people didn't start at the bottom of the money tree):

$ RIGHT WRONG TOTAL
$100 125 14 139
$500 117 15 132
$1,000 127 20 147
$2,000 123 6 129
$3,000 117 9 126
$5,000 127 9 136
$7,000 132 10 142
$10,000 121 13 134
$15,000 112 24 136
$25,000 131 11 142
unknown 170 77 247
$100,000 18 14 32
$250,000 3 4 7
$500,000 2 1 3
$1,000,000 0 0 0

Thanks for that, Wayne. Those stats aren't completely accurate, though, as only Justin Peters and Sharon Diamond (2 people saw the $500,000 question last season. Also, those stats don't indicate people who walked away along the way.

Needless to say Terry Crews' season had the lowest payout of any syndicated season, with lots of $1,000 winners and only 3 six figure winners to my recollection ($250k Sharon Diamond, $100k Daniel Lefevre and $100k Ken Jennings).

This season was much better with 5(?) $100k winners (thanks in part to the $100k question now being a free guess) and two $250,000 winners, along with the vast majority of players winning at least $5,000 with the new money tree structure. I'm not quite sure how this season compared with previous syndicated seasons in terms of payout, though?
