Clinton's campaign chairman, John Podesta, has condemned the attacks on Twitter. I'd like to see a strong public statement by Clinton herself. At least she's not paying the thugs' legal bills.

Senator Sanders and Secretary Clinton both oppose physical violence from their partisans. Trump has condoned and encouraged it, and offered to pay the legal fees of those engaging in thuggery on his behalf. Among major-party nominees in my lifetime, at least, he is uniquely unfit for the office. --Bob

Sorry, no. The differences between them are manifest. The two aren't close to equivalent. As can be seen any time someone tries to give specifics about why they dislike Secretary Clinton.

Political disagreements are one thing. Threats of physical violence are beyond the pale. If my party ever nominated someone who behaved as Trump has, I'd vote for the Republican. Even if it were Ted Cruz or someone else whose views and personality I find as odious. --Bob

As can be seen any time someone tries to give specifics about why they dislike Secretary Clinton.

I can give you tons of specifics, and I believe I did in a previous thread. And the specifics I gave there only scratch the surface. But, like most Hillary supporters, you don't absorb any of it. Only Hillary, the smartest woman in all the world, is telling the truth, and everyone else is lying about her. It's the vast right wing conspiracy, you know.

Every time you give "specifics," they're the same stale gossip that's been bandied about by right wing websites and Clinton haters for the last quarter century. It took the FBI less than one week working completely from scratch to catch the Boston bombers. Why haven't they gotten the goods on Hillary in the months that dozens of agents have been investigating? If it's that obvious to you, it should be a piece of cake to them since they've actually seen Hillary's e-mail server and the e-mails and you haven't. But what happens is that every time a report comes out, it never accuses Hillary of criminal behavior. Instead, people like you and your buddies at Fox News say that you just have to "read between the lines" or "connect the dots." Translation into real world English: there's no crime, just the wishful thinking of people who have been hating the Clintons for years.

Seriously?

First, it is abysmal that they had to start from scratch since Russia had informed our agencies about them before hand.

Secondly, neither brother had friends in high places watching their back or a president and AG on their side.

None of the stuff from the last quarter century has been debunked. The accusers have had their reputations ripped to shreds, been mocked and marginalized. That's straight from Alinsky. But their charges against Bill have NEVER been refuted. And Hillary goes on saying that abused women should always be believed, (except, of course, those abused by her husband).

Of course, Bob, Clinton haters make stuff up all the time. They tried to pin Bill down with the lie that he was schlepping one of his interns. He even went on TV before the American people on prime time and told us he never screwed around with that woman. We should have all been content with that. Just like all the other accusations, it was part of the VAST RIGHT WING CONSPIRACY. No reason to believe it.

Then the damn blue dress with his swimmers had to be found. He came this close to a clean getaway. Kinda ruined it for him. But he came out alright for the left. You guys still adore him. You can forgive a guy for lying to you through his teeth, as long as he's from the right political party. Of course it was only that one time he lied about anything.

Now, with Hillary, let's put aside for a second all the VRWC accusations while she was First Lady. There's some new stuff to bandy about here. Aside from Benghazi, it seems like there's plenty of blue emails and a big blue email server with Hillary's name on them. But she said she was careful. After all, she has a long documented history of being truthful and honest to a fault. So we should all be content with her explanation. At least those of us who keep our heads up our butts.
