The Boney 500: Songs 347-345

Three more songs for the list:
347. WOMAN FROM TOKYO-DEEP PURPLE (1973)
ALBUM: Who Do We Think We Are
This rocks. I especially like when the drums kick in out of the opening, leading
to one of those great Purple riffs. My 16 year-old self loved this. My 58 year-old
self still does.
346. STORMS IN AFRICA PT. 2-ENYA (1988)
Album: Watermark
These days I'm afraid the Irish songstress has become a tad predictable..still
nice to listen to when you need something easy on the ears, but you've heard most of
it before. Easy to forget how unique her sound was when her "Watermark" album hit.
I've always liked the sonic landscape of this one..
345. TITLES-BARCLAY JAMES HARVEST (1975)
Album: Time Honoured Ghosts
The "title" is just that: the lyrics are made up almost entirely of Beatles song titles.
It's a premise used by Harry Nilsson about 8 years earlier than this on his cover
of "You Can't Do That", but I won't hold that against this English group..not when the
song is such a pretty one.
