They can be fun.
We're commenting on the unusual juxtaposition of some of the post subjects on the Bored.ulysses5019 wrote:What's going on? Am I too late?

And.... if they have a point, then they are not that word that I can't spell and always have to copy.

Gratuity is under-rated
I do, too. Unless the !@$#$% restaurant puts the gratuity on the bill. Servers always get ripped off when their restaurants do that to me. I always tip higher than the % they add. But, as a matter of principle, I won't add extra tip when the restaurant has decided for me how much the tip should be.ulysses5019 wrote:Gratuity is under-rated
I generally over-gratuitate.

I don't. If the service was good enough for me to tip 20% and the check adds less than that, I do add the extra money. If the service was just okay, I do not.PlacentiaSoccerMom wrote:I do the same thing.TheCalvinator24 wrote:I do, too. Unless the !@$#$% restaurant puts the gratuity on the bill. Tipping is an archaic custom that should have gone out with the nobility. Compensation for servers should be part of the list price of the meal (and not as a surcharge added on top of the list price).TheCalvinator24 wrote:I do, too. It should be - so that wait staff are treated as sales and delivery people. Can you imagine if we were asked to tip the sales clerks in a department store or the person who services your car or the person who sells you your movie ticket?MarleysGh0st wrote:Tipping is an archaic custom that should have gone out with the nobility.
