Pfffttt. Who wants to be average?
I'm 6'5" and 244 lbs (today) but I always say I'm "normal" sized. Much better to be normal than average.

Joe Mays is light years ahead of everyone else in this area. He wrote a book about Sub-Mediocrity years ago. If he is a liberal, he might get a Nobel Prize.

from the "average" height of a housewife in whatever year so long ago.

If he comes in second to last in the voting, he will consider that getting the award. Although it might be better for him to be considered and rejected.
