JFF waived by Cleveland

Johnny Manzel, aka "Johnny Football," has been waived by the Cleveland Browns. Finally.

I sincerely hope he gets his head straight, but given the number of chances he's had -- and blown -- over the past few years, I wouldn't put money on that.
I still contend that he'd be an excellent CFL QB given his skill set (similar to what Doug Flutie did). The down side to that is that the money is pretty lean up there. The league minimum for a two-year vet is $600,000 in the NFL. The average CFL player makes only $80k a year, with starting QBs making $400-$500k.
