Well, there aren't any details about any theme weeks, yet.
You can be sure that they'll be looking to do another Wedding Week.

What, no Secret Karate instructor's week? Outrage, that's what it is.

Actually, Wedding Week is already on the front page of the website.

Do they ever go out on audition tours any more or is that ancient history?

Oops! Ummm, yeah.
But as I was saying, they'll be sure to have that one!

Special auditions for Wedding Week will be held in NYC May 27th, May 28th and May 29th. Check back regularly as more dates may become available.
And, as if that's not enough, couples can identity themselves as such at any of the regular auditions.

They did last summer and probably will again, but that schedule takes longer to announce.
But don't expect any trips to Rochester. Or Kalamazoo.

Audit - audition. Audition - audit.

[alleged voice]Please come to Boston for the springtime ...[/alleged voice]
Okay, that's better. Those <and> marks deleted the words voice and music. Must be an html thing.

You know they can't find New England on their New Yorker map!

They should have a show with 14 and 15 year old former Jeopardy champions.
(Maddie went to Cal Tech over the weekend for a Quiz Bowl tournament and fell in love with the campus. She also really likes the idea of their house sytem and the boy/girl ratio at the school. Cal Tech costs almost twice as much as UCLA or Berkeley, so she needs to add to her college fund.)

I think TPTB still haven't gotten over how uncomfortable they were seeing kids do poorly during the parent/child team week. Maddie may just have to enroll first and then pay the tuition as a college student contestant.

Yes, but it's less than half as much as Stanford.

As you may or may not recall, Caltech is my alma mater. (By the way, although much of the media gets it wrong, Caltech should be spelled as one word.) I loved my time there and still contribute to the Alumni Fund. If you or she have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to fire away, either here, via e-mail, telephone, or in person. --Bob

The part that made me cringe was the father who used a lifeline, even though his son obviously knew the correct answer, and made it obvious that the reason was that he didn't trust his son enough. If memory serves, the question was about some Britney Spears song. --Bob

Well KT, I've read this over at least three times and for the life of me I can't see much difference between this post and your other audition post on April 1st.

Well, I once considered moving to NYC and pursuing acting. Maybe this is my excuse

What-still no online test? TPTB need to study J!'s online/in person audition process. J! gets smart people who KNOW HOW THE GAME WORKS and who can do well.
The second contestant on today's show admitted he'd never watched it before. Why did he even try out????

I wasn't paying real close attention, but I think he was kidding when he said he had never watched the show. Of course, I could be wrong about this.

Hence my qualification in the title that it's NOT a Lirpa Loof joke.
Frankly, the number of Where Else(R thingie) contestants never REALLY bothered me, since it's to be expected with a show based in NYC (it's classic game show xenophobia). But it never stops me from complaining about it.
