Prayer request for Boonie's family

Friday evening, we got some sad news from Boonie's sister.
Her 29 YO grandson was found dead that morning. Less than ideal circumstances.
You have heard me mention 9 YO Angelina. This is her big brother.
We had a lovely weekend planned - the Philly Auto Show on Saturday, recipe experiment on Sunday.
We ended up with the cooking experiment (chicken stuffed with quinoa) but just spent Friday night and Saturday in kind of a daze. Lots of introspection on Boonie's part.
Boonie had been estranged from his sister's family for about 15 years before we started seeing each other (12 years ago this September). So, he was still getting to know Jake - a musician, artist and gentle soul.
Shelly -- Jake and Angelina's sister -- told me how, a couple of years ago, she and Jake were talking about how glad they were that Uncle Steve (Boonie) was back in their lives and they were grateful to me for my insistence that everyone mend fences.
I will miss Jake - his wry observances and self-deprecating sense of humor. I pray he will be at peace and I pray for those left behind.
