Cam Newton Proves his Critics Right

When you are a highly-paid athlete, just named league MVP and are the new face of the league, and spent an entire season celebrating every success that you had on the field, you have to take your medicine, do the post-game press conference, and answer all of the questions when you get your behind whupped.

Another part of the generational thing, I imagine. Those of us in our 40s and older expect humble winners and good losers.

Not to mention the lost opportunity to start an entire generation of Super Bowl babies.

He is getting crushed on social media for his actions. I foresee a (team-mandated) heartfelt apology in the next few days.

Don't let these talentless whinebabies get you down, Cam. You are the best, and in your mind, you always will be the best... so long as you don't step on a basketball court. Make the money, win the games that don't matter, then check out early and take a well deserved vacation to the strip joint. Just be careful... when I was in San Fran last June, I wound up with a chick that was packing, if you know what I mean...
