I wondered what would happen once Donald Trump suffered a setback in his campaign, and here it is. He's sent out a flurry of tweets this morning claiming that Ted Cruz "stole" the election and that Cruz had committed "fraud" and, for that reason, the results of the caucus should be nullified. Of course, the chances of that happening are non-existent.
What is Ted Cruz's alleged fraud? Falsely claiming that Ben Carson was going to drop out of the race and misrepresenting Trump's stance on Obamacare. I don't follow the Republicans enough to know whether these are valid complaints or not (Carson is also upset with Cruz), but if you disqualified every candidate who lied or misstated an opponent's beliefs or intentions, you wouldn't have anyone left.
This always begs the question, and not just for Mr. Trump.
I'm pretty sure he's not sitting there with a smartphone blasting out tweets whenever he feels like it; of course, he might be just dictating them on the fly to an ST (sub-twitterer). But I always wonder how many of these tweets actually come from their authors, or just from folks acting in their stead (not necessarily being a sub-twitterer, but actually shooting off stuff in their boss's name).

Just because he's whining doesn't mean he isn't right. In the age of cell phones this is the equivalent of slipping someone a 'fin' for his vote and buying him a beer afterward. Reminds me of how LBJ won election to the House.
Got to love politics, Texas style

That makes three incidents involving Cruz staffers. (In between the Carson and Rubio incidents, a PAC supporting Cruz made robo-calls in South Carolina saying Trump doesn't like the Confederate flag, not that there's anything wrong with that.) They reinforce Cruz's reputation as the "nasty" candidate.
