#1 Post by PlacentiaSoccerMom » Sun Apr 13, 2008 2:56 pm

Emma and I just came from from running errands. It's 98 degrees outside.

Blech.

Send some my way, it's only 50° here.

Lucky!

The winds have picked up this afternoon, but they don't feel like Santa Anas.

Today's it for the heat. 77°F/25°C high tomorrow in LA and dropping the rest of the week.

Looking from where I am right now (north of downtown LA) into the San Gabriel Valley, at least there isn't any smog.

Gotta love spring weather. Everyone here is scurrying to cover all the plants they've put out the last couple of weeks due to a freeze warning tonight.
Should be back in the 80's by the end of the week though.

Yeah, my A/C has been running all day. It's too early in the year for this much heat.

I'd take an every-day temperature of 98 over 48 any day.

Nothing wrong with a little sweat. And, when the temp outside and inside the skin is close to equal, there's no shrinkage.

It's the tweezer lobby that's brainwashed people into believing that warmish weather is unpleasant, you know.

I am not surprised.

It was so hot that Jasper didn't want to go outside and play when I opened the back door to go work on the yard.
