Don McLean Arrested on Domestic Violence Charge

Not good news, but at least it breaks the string of threads about oldies musicians dying.
McLean, 70, singer/composer of "American Pie," didn't drive his Chevy in the levee, but he is accused of driving his fist into his wife's face. She's apparently a fairly well-known photographer and author in her own right. He's been charged with the lowest level of misdemeanor assault in Maine and will appear in court in February.
