It's official, the show will be back

At this point I am swimming for the upcoming season as well.
I will also be pimping myself out as a plus one.

Maybe they'll come out to Chicago this summer and I can no longer be a bridesmaid.

I'm really happy to read this.
They let that 9-time trier on so far this year. And he put on a good show. I'm forgetting if he missed his last Q or not, but he played well & got high up the stack.
Maybe next year it could be me or Marley. Or both!

At this point, the show is only confirmed for 8 of the ABC O&O's; and Chicago is not one of them. This is being done more because of contracts already in place than any other reason.ten96lt wrote:Maybe they'll come out to Chicago this summer and I can no longer be a bridesmaid.
I'm sure we'll see other stations jump on board, but either way, I would suspect the producers know this is likely the last season. This is something I'm sure they've felt before, but I think they feel it more now than ever.
Because of that, we have to open ourselves up to the possibility they won't be doing a search at all this year as they've slowed the pace of the show down and with the old format, players last longer in each game. This means they will need fewer contestants again, and may already have a large enough pool from last year.
I love speculation, but at this point the only three things are confirmed:
it will be back for another season
Chris Harrison will host
8 stations will air the show

Your voice to the APs' ears!
I apologize, but I don't remember if you've been on yet; if not, you too!
All the patient waiters (that doesn't look right, but that's what we are, waiters; we wait!) should get on.

We'll know in a few months but I'd be astonished if they didn't continue to hold auditions. They'll do them at the studio, at a minimum, and I'll be quite surprised if they don't know some road trips as well. --Bobtriviawayne wrote:At this point, the show is only confirmed for 8 of the ABC O&O's; and Chicago is not one of them. Amen. I've had my chance, and it was a blast! I sincerely hope/wish each person who wants to gets their chance, but I especially wish it for the long-timers.

I've passed 30 times, 19 phone in tests with Regis.
I also figure they will do studio auditions in case they get yet another season, but I don't expect road trips.
