Maybe that Texas affluenza thing is contageous?

Or, what goes in Vegas doesn't always stay in Vegas when you should be in Miami or Cleveland.

Cleveland Browns QB Johnny Manziel, who comes from a family with money and who always seems to have self-created problems, wasn't with the team in Miami yesterday, nor at the team facility in Cleveland.

Now, mind you, he wasn't going to play and, in fact, I'm not sure he was even on the active roster since he's going through a concussion protocol right now. Therein lies part of the problem -- he's supposed to see the team doctors each day until he clears the protocol. But he didn't yesterday.

Maybe that's because he was doing something "better" with his time.

I know the kid's got some kind of talent -- I still say he'd be a far better CFL quarterback than an NFL one due to the style of play there -- but after an off-season rehab and such, you got to shake your head.

EDIT: The (now ex) Cleveland coach was asked if Manziel was sent home from the team facilities earlier in the week because he was inebriated.

Only a dipshit owner would want Johnny Football on his team next year.

Sounds like the feeling might be mutual as far as the Cowboys go:
