Jason Wingreen, 'All in the Family' Bartender and Voice of Boba Fett in 'Star Wars,' Dies at 95
The prolific character actor, with credits from 'The Twlight Zone' to 'Seinfeld,' was everywhere on television from 1955 until his retirement in the mid-1990s.
I hope this is our last RIP of 2015.

I googled him, and I'm glad I did. I remember him from All in the Family and Star Trek. I read an interview he did after he retired, mostly about his Star Trek role on Empath, about two years before he died. I never watched Twilight Zone so have no memories of those three appearances, and I also had no idea he voiced Boba Fett. There was a Twilight Zone marathon on yesterday, but when I had the television on, I put it on the House marathon.
He's another one of the actors I think of with great admiration almost every time I watch television or movies -- usually not powerful or compelling roles, but nevertheless without which the story could not be filmed, and almost always doing a good job. The "golden years" of television could be a bit hit or miss sometimes; I've flinched a few times at the acting when I've tuned in on an early Gunsmoke, but when Dennis Hopper shows up, or Jean Stapleton, Jack Albertson, Loretta Swit, Jon Voight -- wow!

I just looked at his TV credits. Saw a looooooot of old shows I hadn't thought of in a long time. Damn, he was everywhere on TV for four decades...

I did and thought the same thing. He was in just about everything but Combat and The Rat Patrol.
