Every time they fix a problem

T-Mobile gives me a new "phone #" for my tablet (which is not a phone).

Previously they'd put in a new sim card, free of charge, at the same time, so I'd thought the new # went w/ new sim. But this time they fixed the problem (that I didn't get back my 200MB/month allowance when a $30.00 30-day 3G pass I'd bought expired) over the phone. So no new sim inserted. But I still had to be given a new "phone #" for the fix to work.

Since I only used 370MB of the 3G in the 30 days, this time around when I get close to using up my 200MB/month I'll augment data w/ a 1-week 1MB $10.00 pass. 1 or 2 may be all I'll need to get me through the month, & last time I bought a $10 pass the tablet started burning through my 200MB & never even got to the 1G I'd purchased on the pass, & my 200MB renewed by itself after its month was up with no goosing needed from T-Mobile.

You should always use GB not just G when you're talking about data. Otherwise people will think you're talking about 3rd generation when you use 3G.

I had a similar problem last month. I burned through all of my 200 MB of data, but I chose simply to rely on WiFi until my next 30-day period started. My data didn't renew, and I had to spend 15-20 minutes on the phone with T-Mobile to get them to fix it. My cellular data number didn't change, though. --Bob
