How long can you tread water?

It's going to be close to six months for any news.

This year when nobody thought it would get a renewal, they began searches in April. Everyone was wondering if they knew something the rest of us didn't.

Taping this year was late May through late August. I would expect the same next year if they survive another season.

The show is not too far down from last seasons ratings, and it has horrible time slots in the top markets, so that is good news. Bad news is it is also in fewer markets. The talk show on the ABC O&Os is failing bad. So if there isn't enough new shows to fill the time available, Millionaire could shock us all with another season. If Celebrity fake Pyramid gets the ax, and it just might, that leaves an even bigger hole for Millionaire to slip through.

We also know from the Sony hack that they want the show to continue in the US to have better value on the world market.
