#1 Post by BBTranscriptTeam » Mon Sep 14, 2015 7:43 pm

The station I get the show on changed the air time, so I used another source for the transcript. Thanks Game Show Kingdom.
I didn't know the dollar value for most of the questions, so if another member of the team wants to make changes, please do.

Plus One. Has to be certain, or I use 50/50 and then walk.

Nice to see the original format back. Although the ShuffleBAM music is still around (with some cues rearranged), the new Round One music sounds good (the other two rounds could use something similar yet atmospheric), and Chris is already way better than Terry and Cedric (they weren't bad, but they tended to overdo it occasionally, especially Terry the FOX comedy guy). A decent start to what will hopefully be BAM's big US comeback.

Contestant Chris mentioned that he had downloaded a WWTBAM app which had a question about what percentage of the earth's surface was covered with water.

Chris' +1, Kyra, knew it with 99% certainty and as soon as she said the answer Chris gasped - I think if he'd have given himself a little more time he would have come up with the answer himself.

I would have used my 50:50 at this point, then ATA depending upon the results. I was torn between Carson and Allen.

So a good run for a first episode.

Why would you take them again once you have gotten a perfect score?

Oh - well that's quite different. Never mind.

$2K – After posing nude in Playboy at 19. Who received a quilt from her godfather Steven Spielberg, with a note that said “cover yourself up”?

A. Reese Witherspoon
B. Drew Barrymore
C. Melissa Joan Hart
D. Rashida Jones
I'd have to ATA here.
$20K – Because part of their logo happens to resemble a Nazi symbol, what Rock band uses an alternate on its albums sold in Germany?

A. Aerosmith
B. Van Halen
C. KISS
D. Black Sabbath
My first thought was "Ack! A rock band question!" Coupled with that was to think of the swastika and not know any band that had a symbol looking like that. But re-reading the question, they only said "a Nazi symbol"--and that was enough for me to recall the KISS logo looking like the SS runes. Good for Chris's +1 also making that connection.
$100K – Which of these men was the youngest when he first assumed his duties as full-time host of “The Tonight Show”?

A. Jay Leno
B. Johnny Carson
C. Steve Allen
D. Jimmy Fallon
I burn my remaining lifelines here and hope.
