The title doesn't make any sense, considering that no humans--especially not Timmy--ever fell down a well in all of the years that the TV show and movies have been around. (Lassie fell down a well once, though.)

That's an interesting web page, but as it explains, the title of this post refers to a famous legend that will be as enduring as the one about Marie Antoinette saying "Let them eat cake."
Amusingly enough, Jon Provost still named his auto-biography, Timmy’s in the Well: The Jon Provost Story (he does note in the book that never actually fell down a well).
If it's good enough for Timmy, it's good enough for me! :mrgreen:
