WTF were they thinking?

It's either a case of bad timing or just plain insensitivity (or maybe just a case of the higher-ups don't pay attention to the IT-Marketing group), but....

http://nypost.com/2015/08/19/ill-timed- ... les-pants/

On the Subway kid's page online, kids could play with Jared's pants (benignly, of course -- using them to catch various items for points) in the "Jared's Pants Dance Game".

But still. It's not like Subway didn't know something was brewing once they cut him out as spokesperson.

From the article:
The free “Jared’s Pants Dance” game, which has since been removed from Subway’s kids site, featured a pair of Fogle’s blue jeans which are used to catch sandwiches, bottles of water and other snacks for points.
I shudder to think what you'll be able to catch in Jared's pants a couple of months from now.

Looks like Jared's pants will be dancing in the federal hoosegow for 15 years and 8 months (or whatever that ends up actually being).

Jared's lawyers were looking for a 5-year sentence; the prosecutors sought 12.5 years. Guess the judge thought that even that wasn't long enough.

Ex-Subway pitchman sentenced to 15-1/2 years on child sex charges

I wonder if he will continue to receive free footlongs.
