Hills the robot who ignores her perfidy, Sanders who is an avowed socialist, O'Malley who is a wimp, and 7500 repubs with no focus. What could:possibly go wrong?

Monica Lewinsky could have a new book out she's trying to sell?

Just wake me up when it's over. Meanwhile, I'll watch Sharknado like other people I know. :)

Don't forget Lincoln Chaffee, who may have the lowest polling numbers in modern history.

Maybe Joe Biden will run. No matter what you think of his politics or his shoot-from-the-lip style, he's real-er than any of the other robots out there right now.

I truly wonder what the rest of the world thinks when they look at what's going on in the election process for the leader of the world's superpower.

And the one sensible Republican who could draw independents and win the general election -- John Kasich of Ohio -- isn't even going to make the debate stage.*

*NOTE: this is NOT an endorsement of Kasich - just an observation that he could win the general election but, with his expansion of Medicaid and refusal to condemn the Iran deal, will probably never get that chance because he doesn't appeal to the red meat primary voter.

And to Mr K's point - we at Casa Boonie are convinced that there could very well be a Draft Biden movement next spring.

NOTE: We LOVE Bernie in Casa Boonie. He'll never be president but I love the unvarnishedness of him. And DO agree with him on stuff like the banks and such.

I suspect Mr. Kasich is running for a different office -- Vice-President. Bring in a moderate (by modern Republican standards) from a state that the Republicans historically have to win in order to win the White House, in much the same way that JFK brought in LBJ in order to get the Deep South, and it makes sense.

Other countries don't give a shit about an election that's 15 months away. Canada's PM just scheduled an election 11 weeks from now, and he's being criticized for how long the campaign will last.
