I've never cared for Kanye West. I am more familiar with his self-centered public actions and his self-deluded, grandiose, unsubstantiated opinion of himself as is often quoted than I am with his purported talent. I thought I'd never post a video featuring him.

Two weekends ago, he pronounced himself the "greatest living rock star on the planet" at the 2015 Glastonbury Music Festival. How anyone could watch this, and, with a straight face, suggest that Kanye "totally nailed it" is way beyond me.

Here's Pete Townshend's response:

Kanye West Dissed By Pete Townshend At Glastonbury: What A Poser
The author of the article linked above wrote:When The Who took the stage for their headlining performance, it was guitarist Pete Townshend that used the opportunity to mock Kanye for his self-entitlement. “We’re going to send you home now with a rebellious, ‘Oh yeah, who’s the biggest rock and roll star in the world?” he asked, and the crowd cheered in delight. Then, to further prove his point, Pete delivered an incredible guitar solo. Well played, The Who!
Freddie Mercury returned from the dead to share his thoughts:

I guess the video is set such that it can only be played on the YouTube site: [WARNING: Big jump in volume at :30 when Freddie takes over]

Watch Freddie Mercury Get a Good Laugh at Kanye West’s Cover of ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’
The author of the article linked above wrote:Kanye West may have declared himself the “greatest living rock star on the planet” at Glastonbury over the weekend, but from the looks of this clip, Freddie Mercury doesn’t seem to agree.

During his headlining set, West took on Queen‘s “Bohemian Rhapsody,” with some saying he totally nailed it and others making it clear there is only one version of that song, always and forever.

Now, a very loyal Queen fan — or, someone who just doesn’t like Kanye, and since a lot of people signed that petition to get him off the Glastonbury bill, this may be more likely—had taken the time to edit together footage of ‘Ye’s performance with classic footage of Mercury, who passed away in 1991.

In the less than one-minute clip, Mercury throws back a beer and gets a good chuckle at Kanye as he pours his heart and soul out on lines like, “Mama, I just killed a man.”

Mercury isn’t having it though, and through the magic of editing, Kanye is left looking sad and let down as Mercury begins to sing.. Kind of like that time he went zip lining or ate Chinese food all alone.

That was horrible. I'm not sure who sings it worse, Kanye or me. I'm leaning towards him. And I suck at it.
