They are going to chemically castrate their 10-year old son. What an upside down world we live in.
If they let the kid walk to a park by himself-CPS would take the kid away-but these parents are going to CHEMICALLY CASTRATE their 10-year old son and it is all hunky-dory.

It sounds like the parents have got medical advice that this treatment is safe and won't have permanent effects. Psychologically, it could be dangerous for an already confused child to have to deal with hormones. Hopefully, Lia will continue to receive counseling and figure out who she or he will grow up to be.
